Southampton with overnight on Shelter Island, NY. You
can bring us closer to a world free of MS. Don't miss
participating in the 2010 bikeMS© Twin Forks Ride. This
incredible 150 mile journey will raise awareness and
critical funds, while taking us closer to a cure.
Day One rides along the north fork, starting in Southampton,
with 25, 50, and 75 mile options available and ends with a
Celebration Dinner on Shelter Island. Participants who are
riding day two, will have the option of riding 100, 125, or
150 miles and are welcome to stay at Camp Quinipet on
Shelter Island. Space is limited, so please register to
reserve a bed. Day Two will begin at Shelter Island,
continue along the South Fork and completes in Southampton,
with a tentative finish line BBQ.
Consider forming a team with friends, family and/or
co-workers and share a great experience while helping the
42,000 Long Islanders affected by MS. Pick the participant

riders as well as sleeping accommodations, towels and

30th Annual Hallockville Museum Farm Fall
Festival and Craft Fair on Saturday-Sunday, September 18-19,
2010 at the Hallockville Museum Farm, 6038 Sound Avenue,
Riverhead, NY 11901.
Like last year's successful 2-day event, this year's
gala will run for an entire weekend mostly in an effort to
accommodate the growing number of visitors who come out to
experience this unique look into traditional 1800s North
Fork farm life. The Festival will feature over 50
craftspeople displaying their unique handmade folk art,
demonstrations of wool spinning, weaving, quilting,
knitting, rug hooking, chair caning, basket making, decoy
and woodcarving. Other crowd-pleasing activities include an
antique tractor pull, antique car exhibit, hayrides, music,
children's activities, livestock displays and tours of our
historic farmstead. Taste and enjoy some of the East End's
premier wines and some great food. Festival hours are 10-5
each day. Admission is $7 for adults, $5 for children (5 ?
12 years) and seniors.
The Hallockville Museum Farm is a non-profit
organization whose mission is to serve as an educational
resource for raising awareness of Eastern Long Island's
agricultural heritage. The 28-acre farm preserves eighteen
historic houses, barns and outbuildings ranging from the
mid-18th century Hallock homestead to the Depression-era
Cichanowicz farmhouse. Visitors can tour the museum's
buildings, gardens and collections; experience real farming
in the museum's fields; and meet Hallockville's friendly
cows, sheep and chickens. Hallockville is located at 6038
Sound Avenue in Riverhead, is listed on the National
Register of Historic Places and is a Riverhead Town
