Children's Psychiatric Center, 197 Half Hollow Road, Dix
Hills, NY. Lighthouse Harley Owners Group, a large group
of people who ride Harley Davidson Motorcycles (Chartered by
Harley Davidson Motor Corp) will for the 9th year be
delivering toys and clothing to the children. The center is
a New York State run facility for boys and girls from 9 to
18 years of age. The item's that are collected are
distributed to the children during the Christmas Holiday and
on their birthdays. The Lighthouse Harley Owners Group in
cooperation with Lighthouse Harley Davidson Dealership have
established a collection box at the dealership, which is
located at 670 East Jericho Turnpike, Huntington, New York.
What is needed are gloves, hats, hoodless sweatshirts,
sweatpants, socks, girls cosmetics, boys cologne, games,
basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, board games, craft
sets, crossword puzzles and like items. What we are looking
for is publicity for the toy/clothing collection box at the
dealership. Anything you could do to help, would be
appreciated by the chapter and the children at the center.
