Christ Community Church - East Islip
A
Christian Reformed Church Congregation
The Christian Reformed Church is a denomination
of about 300,000 members in 1,000 congregations
across the United States and Canada. We call
ourselves Christian because we belong to Jesus
Christ and want to be his followers. We
recognize as fellow-Christians all people who
accept the teachings of the Bible as summarized
in the Apostle's Creed. Reformed because we're
part of that historic branch of the Christian
church that follows the teachings of
16th-century reformer John Calvin, who struggled
to return Christianity to its biblical roots.
Church because God has called us to be a
fellowship of his people in the world.

Church of the Harvest - Riverhead
The theme of God's word is summarized by John
3:16. "For God so loved the world that He gave
His only son". The word of God is a statement of
God's missionary heart. God sent His prophets to
initiate the revelation of His redemptive plan.
He later sent His Son to fulfill that plan.
Jesus then sent His church with a mandate to
proclaim God's redemptive plan throughout the
world. This is the mission of the Church. The
scriptural authority of God's missionary work
rests upon the entire design and spirit of the
Bible. It is the responsibility of the church to
recognize that missions is an essential part of
the church's ministry.
We must give missions the same careful,
prayerful attention that we give to any other
part of our work. Our vision must extend beyond
the four walls of our own church. It is easy for
a fellowship to become self-centered and lose
sight of the needs that are outside of it's own
community .However we must lift our eyes to see
past ourselves. We must be willing to invest our
time and money in other works that have a
similar vision and are doing what our hearts
bear witness to as the work of God. We must also
be willing to branch out and begin new works
here at home as the Lord leads us. We must seek
the Lord and consider creative ways in which we
may proclaim the gospel here at home and also
recognize that foreign shores are not beyond our
reach. Our support of foreign missionaries is
simply an extension of what we are doing at
home. Church of the Harvest Youth and Outreach
Ministries are reaching out to young people and
the community.

Dix Hills Evangelical Free Church
The Dix Hills Evangelical Free Church in Huntington Station, Long Island, New York
is to lead all
people to worship Jesus Christ, serve others in his name
and connect with his followers. We are actively
engaged in these three components of the Christian life
and we will be equipped for God's purposes for our lives.
The ministries of Dix Hills Evangelical Free Church include Mothers of Pre-Schoolers, Step
by Step, Christian Service Brigade, Pioneer Girls,
Sunday School, Student Ministries, Worship Arts
Ministries.
Intergenerational Ministry
We believe that the church of Jesus Christ is enriched
by the wisdom, perspective, and opportunities of all
generations. Believers in any age group are brothers and
sisters in Christ, gifted to encourage the body, and
serve the world. Our worship, and weekly schedule
reflects a desire to get people of various
life-situations together for worship and instruction.
The Authority of the Word of God
We take the bible seriously. It is infused into the
framework of many of our ministries and is the central
part of our Sunday worship experience. We encourage
people to read it, memorize it, study it…and certainly
to put it into practice. We expect that the Bible will
speak to the issues we face every day, and that we can
trust God’s wisdom above our own.
Languages of Worship
We are committed to providing both traditional and
contemporary worship formats because we believe that
musical styles are like languages. While one may be able
to speak a foreign language, it is often easier to
express the deepest emotions and thoughts out of a
native tongue. Well-crafted and theologically developed
hymns lead some to the throne of God, while others are
encouraged through the Psalm-like character of
contemporary worship songs.

East Moriches United Methodist Church - East Moriches
At the East Moriches United Methodist Church you
will find information concerning our church and
its ministries. We hope you find your time spent
here a blessing. Our church is a warm and loving
church, and we want you to feel comfortable and
at liberty to call on us for anything you need.
Feel free to browse through the various areas of
our website and learn about our fellowship. When you visit our church, you will find:
- A caring congregation that will gladly welcome
you
- Preaching and teaching that is centered on the
Word of God
- Ministries to meet the spiritual and outreach
needs of our community
United Methodists profess the historic Christian
faith in God, incarnate in Jesus Christ for our
salvation and ever at work in human history in
the Holy Spirit. Living in a covenant of grace
under the Lordship of Jesus Christ, we
participate in the first fruits of God's coming
reign and pray in hope for its full realization
on earth as in heaven.
Our heritage in doctrine and our present
theological task focus upon a renewed grasp of
the sovereignty of God and of God's love in
Christ amid the continuing crises of human
existence.
Our forebears in the faith reaffirmed the
ancient Christian message as found in the
apostolic witness even as they applied it anew
in their own circumstances. Their preaching and
teaching were grounded in Scripture, informed by
Christian tradition, enlivened in experience,
and tested by reason. Their labors inspire and
inform our attempts to convey the saving gospel
to our world with its needs and aspirations.

Join us at the East Northport Christian Church
on Sunday mornings at 10:30AM for worship. You
will find friendly people, great programs for
children, exciting contemporary music and
relevant teaching to help you live a life of
purpose.
Truth
A Transcendant reality exists and we seek to
align our minds, our hearts and our ministry to
its design. Truth frees us to live confidently
and transparently in all our relationships.
Integrity
We seek to live what we represent and claim to
be in our values, priorities, goals and
ministry. While our actions may not always
correspond to our beliefs and goals, we maintain
integrity through acknowledging our flaws and
living under the grace of God.
Love and Acceptance
People are the crowning glory of God's creation.
Each person is unique and will be treated with
respect, love, mercy and grace without
condition.
Service
God honors us with the privilege of joining Him
in fulfilling His plans. Serving adds
significance and satisfaction to one's life.
Jesus calls us to make a godly difference in the
church and in the community through service.
Enthusiasm and Passion
The message and ministry we possess thrills us
and moves us to worship, to live, and to act
with an inward, compelling desire. Genuine
passion is contagious and it honors the awesome
nature of our God.
Excellence
What God does far surpasses what any one else
can do. In everything we do, we seek to do it as
well as we can given our present resources and
to always improve. A high grade of quality
reflects the majesty of our God and causes
people to take notice of Him through our passion
for excellence.
Leadership
A healthy church begins with its leadership.
Leaders who help other people fulfull their
passion and giftedness make the church effective
in her ministry. Jesus establishes leadership
for this very purpose.
Prayer
The whole of our ministry in every part depends
on an abiding relationship with Jesus. We can
ask for his power, provision, partnership and
presence. We are His church and He longs to be a
part of us and our activities.
