The Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center
of Nassau County, located within the
serenity of the beautiful Welwyn Preserve in
Glen Cove, is Long Island’s preeminent
museum and institution dedicated to teaching
people of all ages how to use the Holocaust
as their moral compass. Apathy and inaction
allow the evils of cyber/ bullying,
prejudice and genocide to flourish. Our
mission is to motivate students and adults
to take action during any act of intolerance
and to become an Upstander. Photography,
food, and phone usage are prohibited in the
galleries. The Museum is recommended for
ages 10 and older.
