Description: |
There seem to be so many birds; how do you tell them apart?
Birdwatching can seem intimidating, but you really don't have to know a great deal to enjoy it even if you are just getting started. If you like looking at birds, join Dr. Borowsky from South Shore Audubon Society at Jones Beach and learn some tips on how to begin a most enjoyable past time.
She will speak a bit about what makes birds so special, why Long Island still supports such a wide variety of species in spite of widespread development and will show how anyone can develop the few skills necessary to identify and enjoy watching birds.
