Annual Great Brookhaven Clean Up 2015 Long Island New York
We supply the gloves, bags, pickers, and pick up. Come be part of a great effort to clean up our Town. Take part by registering online at www.brookhaven.org. You can be an individual or community group such as scouts, sports, fire, EMS, etc.
Identify a specific site that you would like to improve. Visit the site to plan your event and get permission from the property owner if necessary. Possible activities:
- Litter clean-ups on streets, parks and playgrounds
- River, lake and seashore clean-ups
- Woodland, trail and filed clean-ups
- Park renewals, nature trail and woodland clean-ups, school clean-ups
- Commercial site, shopping center clean-ups, graffiti paint-overs/removals
- Beautification, community improvement projects
- Recruit family members, friends or neighbors to help
- Register your individual or group's participation
- Pick-up your gloves and bags during normal business hours 9:00AM-4:30PM at the Town Hall Department of Waste Management on the 3rd floor May 4-15, 2015. |
