Chanukah In Chocolate Heaven 13th Annual Menorah Lighting and Parade at Chabad Center for Jewish Life in Merrick, Nassau County, Long Island, New York.
Grand 12 foot Menorah lighting at the Merrick LIRR (on Merrick Avenue and Sunrise Highway) at 3:30PM. 2nd annual gelt drop followed by a special Chanukah performance by JELC preschoolers and Chabad Hebrew School students.
13th Annual Menorah parade which begins at the Merrick LIRR at 4PM and culminates at the Chabad Center (2174 Hewlett Ave, Merrick). Join in your personal car or walk alongside fire trucks and limos with rooftop menorahs! There will be a special chocolate gift for all, music and dancing Rabbis along the way.
Heavenly chocolatey activities and treats for the whole family: Grind, melt and mold your own chocolate coins. Enjoy a hot chocolate bar with all the trimmings. Decorate and fill a donut with chocolate. Enjoy a treat at the chocolate fountains. Make your own Chocolatey Chanukah button. Toddler activity area! Photo Op with Judah the Maccabee and Dreidelman. Have a hot potato latka and more.
