Southampton Youth Bureau Creative Arts Contest 2018 This Year's Theme: Diversity at Flanders Community Center in Flanders, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
The Southampton Youth Bureau’s Creative Arts Contest is back. This year's theme is "Diversity". The contest is open to students in grades 5-12 who reside in the Town of Southampton. An exhibit and reception will be held on Saturday, May 12 2018 1:00PM-3:00PM at the Flanders Community Center at 655 Flanders Road in Flanders NY which will feature all submitted art work. Prizes will be awarded to the "Best Art Piece" in the categories of photography, graphic art, sculpture, and free-hand. Artists can submit a maximum of two entries. Art work will be judged on quality, creativity, and presentation based on the artist's interpretation of "Diversity". All art entries must be dropped off at the youth bureau's main office in Southampton Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road by Monday April 30 2018.
