Project Pet 2019 Paint Sip Event at Pinot's Palette in Bay Shore, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
Paint a portrait of your pet at Project Pet. Once you sign up for the painting, email us a high quality digital photo of your pet (one pet per canvas, please) and we will do the rest. Each photo will be transferred onto a 16”X20” canvas. Our talented artists will walk you through the steps to create your very own Pet Portrait!
Yes you can! Paint your pet, or family pet in one class. Must pre-register here online or by calling Pinot's Palette at 631-446-4777 please email your pet photo to bayshore@pinotspalette.com by 9/1. Dogs, cats, birds, squirrels, snacks any pet.
Doors open 5:30PM. Cash bar. All ages welcome, 21+ with Valid ID at the bar. Non-alcoholic options and snacks also for sale at the bar. Painting will commence 6:00PM-9:00PM. Everyone will take home their 16 x 20 painting as a lasting memory of a wonderful day.
Any photos sent after the photo deadline of 9/1 will not be printed and your reservation will be refunded. After photos are submitted class can not be refunded only rescheduled with 48 hours notice. Sold out classes subject to $10.00 re-booking fee.
About Your Pet Photos
All pictures need to showcase your animal and reflect unobstructed views of their pet. 300dpi works best.
Here are some tips for success:
a) 1 pet per person/per photo (Why one pet only? It will take you the whole class to do one pet, remember you are painting every stroke of hair, 2 eyes, nose, mouth etc.)
b) Highest resolution possible
c) Pet is clear and in the foreground with no furniture, objects, grass, etc. blocking any body parts
d) Pet is centered in the photo either full body or head shot, with no cropped off edges.
e) Our best advice is to take a photo of your pet with the best camera you have outside during the day, under a shaded area (like your front porch, back patio, or inside near a window).
f) Remember, the better your photo is, the easier the painting process ...but yes if all you have is a scan/pdf or pet since passed on send us that favorite photo and we will do some photoshop magic.
