Project Pet Valentine's 2018 Paint Sip Event at Pinot's Palette in Bay Shore, Suffolk County, Long Island, New York.
Paint a portrait of your pet at Project Pet. Once you sign up for the painting, email us a high quality digital photo of your pet (one pet per canvas, please) and we will do the rest. Each photo will be transferred onto a 16 x 20 canvas. Our talented artists will walk you through the steps to create your very own pet portrait.

Register here then email pet photo to: bayshore@pinotspalette.com by February 5 2018 and include your name and the email address you used to order your class seat (s). Makes a great surprise. You can submit a photo on behalf of someone else and watch their face light up when they walk in and see their furry friend at their seat. All pets welcome: turtles, horses, cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters - even paint mom or dad's pet as a personalized gift.
Photo deadline February 5 2018 at that date this class will close for registration. Must send photos by 2/5 to receive high res photo of your pet in time for class. Please confirm your first name, last name and email to best communicate with you. The best portraits are a little closer in and high resolution, i.e. not a scanned photo but rather a photo from your cell phone.
Any photos sent after the photo deadline will not be printed and your reservation will be refunded. After photos are submitted class can not be refunded only rescheduled with 48 hours notice. Sold out classes subject to $8 rebooking fee. All pictures need to showcase your animal and reflect unobstructed views of their pet. 300dpi works best. Here are some tips for success:
- 1 pet per person/per photo (Why one pet only? It will take you the whole class to do one pet, remember you are painting every stroke of hair, 2 eyes, nose, mouth etc.)
- Highest resolution possible
- Pet is clear and in the foreground with no furniture, objects, grass, etc. blocking any body parts
- Pet is centered in the photo either FULL BODY or HEAD SHOT, with no cropped off edges
- Our best advice is to take a photo of your pet with the best camera you have outside during the day, under a shaded area (like your front porch, back patio, or inside near a window)
- Remember, the better your photo is, the easier the painting process
