		The Safe Center LI Restoring Hope For Victims of Abuse The Safe Center LI, Nassau County's only comprehensive victims' services agency offers confidential and cost-free services to victims of child abuse, domestic and dating violence, rape and sexual assault and human trafficking. Our mission is to protect, assist and empower victims of family violence and sexual assault while challenging and changing social systems that tolerate and perpetuate abuse. Created in 2014 as the result of a merger of the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Coalition Against Child Abuse and Neglect, The Safe Center LI provides support and empowerment to children and adult victims of abuse. Most importantly, we offer hope. This could not have been possible without many of you our supporters, our champions, our donors, our family. The Safe Center LI is the uniting of two former not-for-profit agencies that separately served the child or adult victim of family violence and sexual abuse. The merger of the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence (CADV) and the Coalition Against Child Abuse and Neglect (CCAN) into one unified agency provides a fast and easy path to resources that assist in saving and changing the lives of the victims of sexual assault, severe physical abuse and domestic and family violence.
