Long Island Greyhound Transfer (LIGHT)
Long Island Greyhound Connection, Inc is a 501 (C) (3) organization run exclusively by volunteers dedicated to educating the public about ex-racing greyhounds and finding homes for these deserving dogs.
The most important part of what we do is determining if a greyhound is a good fit for you and your family. We can only do this with your help. After an application is received you will be contacted for a home visit to exchange information that will help us determine if a greyhound is the right fit for your family. At this home visit, you will have the benefit of the knowledge of an experienced adopter who will answer all of your questions.
