The Brendan and Liam Shanahan Foundation is non-profit organization whose mission is to ease the burden that families face who have chronically and terminally ill children, along with helping fund research for Alpers' Disease, which our sons Brendan and Liam were stricken with. There is currently no treatment or cure for Alpers. Many families endure high medical costs as well as struggling with income due to the needs of their children.
