The Arbors Assisted Living Community at Hauppauge Hosts Free VA "Aid and Attendance" Pension Benefit Seminar for Long Island Veterans to help educate veterans about the new rate increases available within the Veterans Administration's (VA) Aid and Attendance Pension that took effect at the start of 2012, as well the eligibility and application process. Light refreshments and a Q&A session will immediately follow the discussion, which will be led by The Arbors Assisted Living Communities' Veterans Liaison Patrick Yngstrom, who is the former Nassau County Director of Veterans Affairs and long-time Deputy Director. |
