Description: |
Green Theatre Collective, Season 2012, will be presenting William Shakespeare's great romance "The Tempest" on the South Fork of Long Island this summer.
The Tempest is a play about Duke Prospero, a powerful magician, and his young daughter who are shipwrecked on a remote island by his enemies. His enemies unwittingly have come within the reach of his magic and will be shipwrecked themselves. The Tempest is a tale of revenge, redemption, betray and greed, as well as innocent love and selfless generosity.
Laughter, mystery and magic will be told by six actors with music, dance, daring and passion - don't miss it.
Green Theatre Collective is one of the country's first eco-theatre companies and produces sustainable theatre productions in outdoor spaces. |
