Mercy is a non-denominational non-profit with three shelters in Patchogue Blue Point and Sayville for homeless/runaway teen girls and teen mothers (16-21). We offer housing, 'round the clock supervision, counseling, case management, and independent living skills training. Most, if not all of our residents come from severely broken families and voluntarily enter our programs to escape abuse and learn to be responsible, educated, hard working community members. Our residents are required to attend school, college or vocational programs, work full or part time and work on realistic goals that will lead the down the path to independence. |
