Description: |
To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of September 11th, Sachem High School East is hosting a 5K Run to Remember on our home cross-country course, where all proceeds will be used to fund a permanent Memorial in honor of those lost in the Sachem Community. Awards to top three finishers in each of the following age divisions: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Proceeds will help the school create a 9/11 Memorial and Scholarship Fund. Local merchants and other sponsors are needed to support the cause. For a $100 donation, you can be included on the race day t-shirt. Donors of $200 can receive a large imprint of your logo. All sponsors will also receive a race day t-shirt.
7:00AM-8:15AM Pre-registration number pick-up, day of race registration
8:30AM Opening Ceremony
8:45AM Fun Run
9:00AM 5K Start (east end of practice football field, behind track)
10:30AM Awards Ceremony |
