Inspired by the fully accomplished meditation master and internationally renowned teacher of Buddhism, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, the annual Northeast Dharma Celebration is an opportunity for people from around the Northeast region to gather together to receive empowerment, teachings, engage in meditation, and renew our inspiration. Open to everyone, the Northeast Dharma Celebration is the perfect way to enjoy meaningful relaxation and a spiritual vacation in the peaceful environment of Kadampa Meditation Center New York and the World Peace Temple.
This year, join us as Gen Jampa, the US National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition, will grant the empowerment of Wisdom Buddha Manjushri. Gen Jampa will also give teachings on developing wisdom in our own hearts. Through relying on Manjushri and increasing our wisdom, we create the ability to increase our own happiness, decrease our own suffering and problems, and develop the ability to help others do the same.
