Tara is a female enlightened being, whose name means Liberator, and who is the embodiment of swift compassion. On December 7-8, 2012 we are engaging in a special practice in which we offer chanted prayers to Tara every 4 hours for 24 hours. You can join us for just one session, or for as many as you like. This time of year brings joy to many people, but also brings great sadness and hardship to some. This is a wonderful opportunity to make prayers and requests for all those experiencing difficulty at this time.
