Description: |
The Jewish Community Center of West Hempstead will be having a dedication of the Murray Roth Room in honor of our beloved past Religious Custodian, Murray Roth zal Saturday evening, September 8, 2012, (22 Elul 5772) in conjunction with our Selichot program and service.
There is no charge to attend this event but donations will be accepted for the Murray Roth Fund. For those wanting to make donations, please make your check payable to the The Jewish Community Center of West Hempstead and put Murray Roth Fund in the remarks section.
The program will begin at 8:30PM at which time we will be having the Murray Roth Dedication. That will be followed by a collation at 9:30PM and the Selichot Program and Service beginning at 10:00PM.
Please plan to join us and participate as we come together to reflect on all that Murray Roth zal did for us and to honor his memory. His service to our synagogue was the essence of the three pillars of Judaism as described in Pirkei Avot: Torah study, Avodah and Gamilut Chasadim. |
