First Annual Mardi Gras Masquerade Party - New Orleans Inspired Cuisine Wine Jazz at the Greenport Masonic Temple in Greenport, Long Island, New York.
Lively event that celebrates the local community. Currently home to Five Branches Wellness, the venue will be transformed into a ballroom gilt with the decorative influence of New Orleans' French Quarter. Attendees can look forward to a Cajun and Creole inspired cuisine paired with local wines while dancing to some old time, down-home jazz.
While it is not required for attendees to come decked out in their best mardi gras inspired mask, it certainly makes the night more fun.
Greenport's Mardi Gras Masquerade is the brain child of Rena Wilhelm, owner of The White Weathered Barn located in the center of town. This is her 2nd community event after developing Greenport's 12 Days of Christmas. Together with some helping hands, Ms. Wilhelm looks forward to celebrating the local community year round.
Food provided by Noah's and The Rhumbline. The first 50 tickets sold will automatically enter you into a raffle for a free 1 hour massage from Five Branches Wellness a $100.00 value. $5.00 tappas sized plates prepared by local Greenport Chefs Terry of The Rhumb Line. $3.00 wine pairings provided by Greenport Wines and Spirits. |
