Description: |
Turtle Walk at the Sweetbriar Nature Center in Smithtown, Long Island, New York.
Join us in our annual box turtle scavenger hunt and count. The turtles will be examined and tagged and to be released after our annual wildlife/craft fair. Meet one of our resident Eastern Box Turtles along with some of our other turtles and create a turtle craft to take home. Wear long pants and closed toed shoes. All are welcome.
