For Ground Hog Day: In Search of Sweetbriar Sam at the Sweetbriar Nature Center in Smithtown, Long Island, New York.
Here at Sweetbriar there is a story of a ground hog named Sweetbriar Sam. We are asking for your help in locating Sam. So join us for a ground hog/woodchuck/whistling pig, gopher scavenger hunt, make a ground hog craft to take home, and meet Sweet Sweetbriar Sam and some other animals to find out what they do for the winter. We will not be chucking any wood.
