An Evening of Irish Music with Ed Ryan at the Dix Hills Performing Arts Center in Dix Hills, Long Island, New York.
Highly respected entertainer in the Irish-American community, Ed Ryan has performed with Gerry Finlay’s Cara Band, and has become popular in the Irish circuit, most notably for his searing rendition of "Danny Boy" and his humorous (and most requested) original sing-along titled "The Drinking Song". Ed has performed during the opening ceremonies of New York City’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade on WNBC-TV and in the parade. "When New York Was Irish" is his new 12-track album with traditional Irish songs and an Ed Ryan original. Ed Ryan makes the kind of music you never get tired of listening to, his powerful voice and sharp wit have made him a popular favorite, hailed by one critic as "possibly the best songwriter on Long Island today". Ed made a reputation on the Stand-Up Comedy circuit where he found himself headlining, as well as opening for such greats as Ray Romano, Kevin James, Paula Poundstone, Jay Black & The Americans and many more. Join us for wonderful evening of Irish music and wit with the extraordinary Mr. Ed Ryan. |
