Description: |
Dennis Raffelock: Jazz vocalist and bass player Dennis Raffelock has been a professional musician since he was 13 years old and a full time musician (singer/ bass player) most of his life.
His performances have been seen on television, in feature films, on radio, at major hotels and clubs across the country in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Malibu, Hollywood Hills, Chicago, NY City, The Hamptons and East End including: Birdland, The Village Gate, Hollywood Palace, Tavern on the Green, Avalon Ballroom, Beverly Hills Hotel, BelAir Sands, The Arts Clubof Chicago, and many of the major theaters on the East End of Long Island. He has led bands all over the world on Princess Cruises.
He has worked for numerous Hollywood and musical legends, including Julie Andrews, Dick Clark, Mary Crosby (Bing's daughter), Bert Reynolds, Sid Lumet, a Governor, an Astronaut, a Mayor, etc, etc. He has played with: Manhattan Transfer, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, Twiggy, 3 different Count Basie drummers, Jazz greats: Herbie Hancock, Lou Bellone, Henry Butler, Carol Sloane, Dan Barrett, Jon Jorgensen, David Hazeltine, Rufus Reed, etc, etc, and sang and played with members of The Coasters, The Passions, The Duprees, Randy and the Rainbows, etc.
He is currently playing most Saturday nights at The Danfords Hotel and Marina in Port Jefferson. and Monday nights leading a Jazz Jam Session at The Pizza Place in Bridgehampton. |
