Description: |
Alex "Sasha" Sipiagin: Jazz Festivals worldwide has seen Russian born Alex Sipiagin performing with the likes of Dave Holland, Gonzalo Rubalcaba, Michael Brecker, the Mingus groups, etc. Sipiagin has 11 solo albums to his credit, touring extensively worldwide with his own group, and also teaches at the Groningen Prince Claus Conservatory.
His newest solo albums (10th & 11th) were released last Spring on the prestigious Criss Cross label featuring such noted musicians as Chris Potter, Dave Binney, Eric Harland, Craig Taborn and Boris Kozlov. He will be recording his 12th and 13th solo projects later this year. |
