Description: |
Amy London: Amy London has been performing in New York City for more than 25 years. On the heels of the success of her two Motema CD's, 'When I Look In Your Eyes' (2007) and 'Let's Fly' (2011), she has been invited to perform in Moscow, Istanbul, Italy, Brazil, France, Belgium, Maine, West Virginia, Los Angeles, New Orleans and Cincinnati. She has played the main clubs in NYC: Blue Note, Dizzy's, Kitano, BB King's, Birdland, 92nd Street Y, North Square, as well as outdoor concerts and festivals in the metropolitan area. Aside from her two well received Motema recordings, Ms. London has had an extensive recording career, recording a duo album with husband/guitarist Roni Ben-Hur, 'Two for the Road' (Fivecat Records) and appearing on several of Mr. Ben-Hur's other recordings with jazz great Barry Harris. Ms. London was in the original cast of the Broadway hit and Grammy nominated, 'City of Angels' as the lead singer of the 'Angel City Four'. |
