Description: |
58th and Ninth: 58th and Ninth is a collective formed by David Varriale (drums), and TJ Swan (guitar). An album of 6 original songs was recorded in 2010 with Stu Waters on Hammond B3 organ. Mikel Campbell played bass on 3 songs. The band was named after the location of the studio where the album was recorded.
Since 2011 the band lineup has been Varriale on drums, Swan on guitar, and Eric Dodenhoff on organ. This is the band's first appearance at the Jazz on The Vine Series. The band's eponymous debut album "58th & Ninth" is available on iTunes and Amazon, with a new album to be released in 2011. |
