Did you know that those with severe-to-profound hearing loss may not be helped by even the most powerful hearing aids? Join us for this free informational session to learn how cochlear implants can help you or your child hear again, and better understand the causes of severe hearing loss.
Getting a Cochlear Implant: Life Beyond Hearing Aids will include a short presentation about severe hearing loss followed by a panel discussion with audiologists and cochlear implant recipients.
Getting a Cochlear Implant: Life Beyond Hearing Aids will include a short presentation about severe hearing loss followed by a panel discussion with audiologists and cochlear implant recipients or their caregivers. CART (captioning) services will be provided. Refreshments will be available beginning at 12:00PM, after the session has ended. There will be a Hands On Hearing session in the afternoon 1:00PM-3:00PM for anyone who wishes to stay and learn about assistive listening devices (ALDs). |
