Win With Your Teen - Well Being Workshop Series - Special Parenting Teens Session presented by The Mental Health Sub-Committee of Universalist Unitarian Congregation at Shelter Rock
All are welcome to these special Saturday morning events.
The Well Being Workshops, led by Dr. Anthony DeCamello, address
common quality-of-life issues in a supportive atmosphere. These
workshops are designed to enhance personal growth and foster problem solving. They offer the opportunity to clarify, contemplate and prompt action-oriented change.
Presentation is slides, narrative and discussion. At a time when many parents feel confused or conflicted, this is a welcome opportunity to boost parental skills, especially with older kids. Join parents wanting to develop or continue a nurturing relationship with their children through the adolescent years and beyond: Dr. Anthony DeCamello is a psychologist affiliated with the North Shore-LIJ Health System. He is an educator and clinician.
If you are looking for a spiritual home here on Long Island, Shelter Rock has a lot to offer both the heart and the mind: engaging worship, religious education, opportunities for social action, and a community of caring, curious and compassionate people. The menu to the left will help you explore areas of particular interest to you.
We invite you to learn more about what makes this Unitarian Universalist congregation such an important part of the lives of its members. Please join us for our Sunday service and other congregational events that appeal to you. We look forward to meeting you. |
