Description: |
This trio of talented performers presents a unique program. Composers have sought their inspiration from many different combinations of instruments and sounds. An Unlikely Pairing will feature the bassoon and violin in collaboration with the piano and in an unusual setting by the famous violinist Paganini. The Princeton Chamber Players, Seth Baer, Bassoonist and Kiri Murakami, Violinist will be accompanied by pianist Karen Faust Baer in a program featuring the Paganini Duets with music of Saint Saens and Faure.
The Town of Oyster Bay Department of Community and Youth Services, Cultural and Arts Division, co-sponsoring with the Bethpage Public Library, presents the concert as part of CAPA's Distinguished Artists Concert Series 2011-2012. |
