Description: |
Hicks Nurseries annual Tomato Contest will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2013. Prizes will be awarded for heaviest tomato, largest circumference, most unusual and tiniest red tomato. Entries will be accepted at 10:00AM on the day of the contest only. Judging begins at 11:00AM. Each contestant can win one category. Tomatoes must be ripe and not frozen or previously frozen.
All children 12 or under are encouraged to bring in their "own-grown" tomatoes. Those who participate receive a Hicks Nurseries Certificate of Achievement. All are welcome to enter. |
