A favorite for many of our guests over the years at OBVR. Come experience life in the 1800's at night. Half of the village is lit by candlelight and lanterns. It is beautiful. We also have a lot of entertainment during the Candlelights.

Long Island's 19th-Century Living History Museum
Old Bethpage Village Restoration is a living history museum dealing mostly in 1800's Long Island life providing visitors with a unique and wonderful opportunity to step back in time and experience life in a recreated mid-19th-century American village. The 209-acre village includes an assortment of homes, farms and businesses. Our goal is to educate our guests about Long Island life back in the 1800's in a fun and interesting way. At Old Bethpage Village Restoration you will be able to get your Old Fashioned Root Beer at the Noon Inn Bar, learn how to make hats, be taught in the One Room Schoolhouse, or even grab a candy stick to enjoy while self-guiding yourself through the museum. We also have many Events scheduled throughout the year for guests of any age to enjoy. |
