Ward Melville Heritage Organization 34th Annual Holiday Festival 2013 at Stony Brook Village Center in Stony Brook, Long Island, New York.
Join the festivities as the Ward Melville Heritage Organization hosts its 34th Annual Holiday Festival. Enjoy live music provided by WALK-FM and holiday carolers, visit the petting zoo in the inner court, and enjoy a model train display at the Educational and Cultural Center. There will also be over 70 individually decorated trees along the pathways throughout Stony Brook Village Center, so don't forget to vote for your favorite one.
And of course, the holidays would not be complete without a visit from Santa Claus, who will arrive at 2:00PM on a horse-drawn carriage to listen to children's wishes until 5:00PM Santa will also be on hand to throw the switch illuminating the holiday tree on the Village Green at 5:30PM.

Promenade of Trees
Vote for your favorite holiday tree at 12:00PM. View over 70 individually decorated trees along the pathways
throughout Stony Brook Village Center. Come and enjoy this visual treat. Trees on display until January 1, 2014.
Not Forgotten: Voices of Stony Brook's Past
1:00PM, 2:15PM, 3:30PM in the Inner Court. A performance by WMHO Youth Corps.

Santa Comes To Town
2:00PM-5:00PM Santa arrives on a horse-drawn carriage to listen to children's wishes. In case of inclement weather Santa will be at the Educational and Cultural Center (rear of village).
Santa Returns
Santa Claus returns at 5:30PM to the Village Green on The Stony Brook Fire Department's 3000-light float to throw the switch that illuminates the Holiday tree. |
