Christmas with the Gardiner-Thompson Family House Tour - A History of American Christmas .
Take a holiday tour of the Manor all decorated for the holidays. This year we will be celebrating Christmas with the Gardiner-Thompson Family. Travel back in time, as far back as 1777 through the early 1950’s, and relive Christmas’ past as retold by docents. Tour covers rooms on the first floor of the Manor. Afterwards, enjoy a hot beverage served with a cookie bag and shop for holiday themed items in our gift shop. Wreaths and other seasonal greenery items are also for sale, hand assembled by the Friends of the Manor Gardens. Tours start at 11:00AM and leave every 15 minutes. The last tour is at 3:00 pm. It is best to reserve a spot in advance as we allow 15 people per tour. The tour for adults $20.00, seniors and students $15.00 and children (5-12) $5.00 with reservations. If you are reserving in advance, the form and a check must be postmarked by 12/1 and mailed to: Sagtikos Manor Historical Society, P.O. Box 203, Farmingdale, NY 11735. |
