A 1950s Christmas In Southampton - A Family Oriented Holiday Exhibit in Southampton, Long Island, New York.
The exhibit will be family oriented and will look back at some of the Christmas decorations, toys and gifts children and adults received during the 1950s. Photographs from several Southampton family archives will be included as well as a recreation of a 1950s living room with a tree.
The mission of the Southampton Historical Museum is to preserve and promote the history and culture of the Town of Southampton through education programs for people of all ages and exhibits on our common social history. |
