Discover the history that abounds along famous Long Island "Main Streets". The road begins at an historic inn where Thomas Jefferson and James Madison lodged in colonial Center Moriches. We enjoy light refreshments at an historic manor home and we explore a unique Book Store Barn. On Main Street in Bridgehampton we have time for a leisurely stroll and a delicious lunch on our own before journeying to East Hampton to see the “most beautiful Main Street in America.” Travel in time from English Colonial Farmsteads to modern day upscale shops. Stops at the popular "Ladies Exchange" store and a traditional Long Island farmstand known for its delicious strawberries end our trip. |
