Description: |
Three Friends Recall Life in Southampton During World War II presented by The Southampton Historical Museums and Research Center.
Victory gardens, gas rationing, blackouts and plane spotting
are some of the memories of three classmates and friends who were too young to go to war but whose vivid memories of everyday life in Southampton during World War II have stayed with them ever since. Please join us at the Rogers Mansion for an hour-long visit to hear John Griffin, Howard McElroy and Frank Rotunno's stories. Then we will enjoy soup and cider. |
