Smoking Cessation 101 at the Kings Park Branch of the Smithtown Library.
As Assistant Clinical Professor and Patient Education Director at Stony Brook University Hospital as well as a Board Certified Advanced Practical Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner and retired Lieutenant Colonel with the U.S. Army Reserve, Sabra Boughton, RN, ANP-C, PhD, wears many hats. Tonight, as she has before in community organizations, churches, schools and other libraries, she will be your Smoking Cessation Facilitator, her mission to educate you about the effects of smoking and second-hand smoke on your lungs, various approaches to quitting and staying smoke-free, and stress reduction techniques and to answer any questions you may have. |
