Purim Celebration Dinner and Service at Temple Beth Am of Merrick and Bellmore in Merrick, Long Island, New York.
Purim this year falls on Saturday night, February 23, 2013 and Sunday morning. If you look at different web sites, Purim is usually described as "one of the most joyous and fun holidays on the Jewish calendar." Since the school is having its annual Purim carnival on Monday, I thought why shouldn't the adults have fun as well! In this spirit, I am inviting you to a free (you read that correctly) dinner Saturday night February 23rd. It will be a kosher deli dinner from Ben's served with wine. The meal will begin at 6:30PM followed by services at 8:00PM.
In addition, if you would like the honor of reading from the Megilla (in English) please let us know. Call my secretary Jayne at 516-378-3477 and tell her how many adults will be attending and/or whether you would like to participate in the service.
Sincerely,
Rabbi Dr. Ronald Brown
