Latkes and Vodka Party Hanukkah Celebration presented by the Commack Jewish Center Sisterhood and Men's Club at the Commack Jewish Center in Commack, Long Island, New York.
Enjoy delicious latkes and other refreshments. Toast to Hanukkah with flavored vodkas and wines. Marvel at the tricks of Steve Sussman, an amazing sleight of hand artist, magician and mentalist. Steve's magical performance was seen on Rabbi Berman's Israel trip last summer.
Share the Hanukkah spirit. Please bring a wrapped toy for ages 16 and under to be donated to a children's charity. Please RSVP by December 8, 2012 and include if you will be needing babysitting and the ages of your children. Babysitting will be available 8:00PM-10:00PM.

Commack Jewish Center is an egalitarian Conservative synagogue and Religious School located in Commack, NY, on the North Shore of Long Island. It began with a few Jewish families coming together in 1957, was 'born' in 1958, and incorporated in June of 1959. Our first home was a storefront in the Mayfair Shopping Center followed by a house on the corner of Walter and Shirley Courts. As we moved into the '60's, the need for a real building became obvious. |
