About Cafe Carlyle
A Rosewood Hotel
Since 1930, The Carlyle has established itself as a quintessential landmark ideal for high-powered meetings and other remarkable events. Featuring a distinctive Art Deco facade and an elegantly ornamented roof, the atmosphere is timeless and fit for any occasion. To complete the experience, The Carlyle also presents gracious service and world-class dining.
The golden age of New York cabaret comes alive each night at Cafe Carlyle. With an authentic Manhattan backdrop and a soundtrack that is classic cabaret, Cafe Carlyle is known for headlining incredible talents; including Sutton Foster, Judy Collins and Woody Allen, who regularly appears to jam with the Eddy Davis New Orleans jazz band. Music has been an essential part of The Carlyle, and it is on spectacular display at the Cafe Carlyle since its debut in 1955.
Seating up to 90 for dinner and a performance, the supper club offers a unique intimate space and is highlighted by music-themed wall murals by Marcel Vertes. At Cafe Carlyle, guests experience and engage in the lost language of elegance and sophistication. As the New York bastion of classic cabaret entertainment, Cafe Carlyle completes the Manhattan experience. |
