Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union Sponsors Long Island Children's Museum's Annual Ghostly Gala at Long Island Children's Museum in Garden City, Long Island, New York.
NEFCU, a leading credit union serving all Long Island's banking needs, is proud to sponsor The Long Island Children's Museum's (LICM) Annual Ghostly Gala to be held this year on Saturday, October 26, 2013 6:00PM-9:00PM at LICM in Garden City, NY. Join LICM to celebrate Halloween in a fun, safe and spooky way.
"The Long Island Children's Museum is an integral source of educational entertainment for the youth of Long Island," said Valerie Garguilo, Vice President of Marketing and Community Relations for NEFCU. "We are proud to sponsor the Ghostly Gala to give Long Islanders an entertaining and secure place to celebrate Halloween with their families."
Attendees (including grownups!) can show off their costumes, decorate their own goody bags, go gallery trick-or-treating, get their face painted, listen to creepy music throughout the museum and make some cool and creepy craft projects to take home.
New this year, join The Puppet Company as they provide attendees with a ghostly variety show. Host Al E. Gator presents a lively puppet performance with his friends. Lead by puppeteer Steven Widerman, the "Al E. Gator Show" presents various musical acts, including gnomes that do acrobatics on a see-saw, a roller skater, a puppet choir, skeleton dancing, and ghostly fun. Puppet show times are at 6:15PM, 7:00PM, 7:45PM and 8:15PM. Tickets for both events are required. Visit www.licm.org for details.
Advanced ticket sales are recommended for this highly popular event and can be made by calling 516-224-5802 or online at the Museum's website.
LICM President Suzanne LeBlanc adds, "The Ghostly Gala is one of the Museum's most popular annual events; allowing families to celebrate Halloween together in an exciting and safe way. We wouldn't be able to host events like these without help from devoted community partners like NEFCU. We truly appreciate NEFCU's ongoing support of our programs and thank them for their assistance throughout the years."
