Wings, starring Buddy Rogers, Richard Arlen, and Clara Bow is one of the classics of the late silent era – a combination adventure/romance that took the viewer back a mere 10 years to what was, at the time, the most pivotal and traumatic event of the new century: World War I. With its depiction of dogfights and re-creations of epic land battles, Wings proved to be one of the greatest epics of early Hollywood, and remains a riveting action adventure and a significant statement about war. A newly restored 35 mm print screens with live musical accompaniment by MoMA's Ben Model on the Cinema's Miditzer Theater Organ.
