North Shore Synagogue's Committee for Lifelong Learning and North Shore Synagogue's Green Team present a screening of Bag It, a movie that examines our society's use and abuse of plastic, that will be followed by a discussion program and light refreshments. Admission is free to North Shore Synagogue members and a $10 charge at the door for non-members. No reservations are needed.
Bag It is a powerful movie that is sure to change the way you look at everyday objects. The evening program will be moderated by Ann Merrill, chairperson of The Environmental Committee. Ann was a fact-checker for Bag It, and North Shore Synagogue is proud of her involvement and commitment. After the screening, Ann will run a raffle with five (5) Bag It ChicoBag shopping bags for prizes. |
