The Oyster Bay East Norwich Chamber of Commerce is proud to support the arts and is planning their inaugural Oyster Bay Arts Festival featuring a Saturday evening art stroll and a Sunday family arts festival.
Artistry, in its many forms, will illuminate the hamlet of Oyster Bay during a spirited weekend celebration of the arts.
Local artists, performers, educators and collectors will line the streets of Audrey Avenue, South Street and East Main Street for two days of art inspiration.
Festival Schedule
An Evening Art Stroll
Saturday, September 21, 2013 5:00PM-9:00PM
Visitors will stroll through Oyster Bay and soak in the treasures of a talented community of artists and collectors who will transform downtown sidewalks into an outdoor gallery. Our evening will also feature live music and an outdoor marketplace.
Feed your mind and then feed your appetite call ahead to make dinner reservations at our many fine eateries. How about the kids check our chamber website for Saturday evening "drop-off" programs allowing parents to stroll and dine while kids have their own artistic fun.
Family Arts Festival
Sunday, September 22, 2013 10:00AM-4:00PM
This hands-on festival will feature children's crafts, knitting, pottery, cooking, live music, story telling, dance, martial arts, artist demonstrations, animal presentations, children's plantings, water sports activities, food, drinks, treats and an artist marketplace.
This festival is free of charge and open to the public, however, some activities will include a fee. Rain date: September 28-29, 2013. |
