The 2013 Nassau County Strawberry Festival will be held this year Thursday-Sunday, May 30 - June 2, 2013 at the Bellmore Boces School grounds located at Newbride Rd and Jerusalem Avenue, Exit 25 south off the Southern State Parkway. There will be rides, live bands and amazing acts. Of course there will be all your favorite strawberry products on sale like strawberry shortcake, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate covered strawberries, and strawberry daiquiris. The will be a pie eating contests with some great prizes. Carnival rides and games will be provided by Blue Sky Amusements and pay one price bracelets will be available.
The Strawberry Festival has long been considered one of the very best Long Island annual shopping and family fun events. Live entertainment Friday, Saturday, Sunday. All proceeds donated back to the community.
Sponsored by The Lions and Kiwanis Clubs of Bellmore, attendance is usually about 30,000-40,000 people for the two-day event. Rental rates for Craft and Gift Vendors are as low as a total of $170.00 for Saturday and Sunday and as low as $340.00 for Service Vendors. Vendors selling prepackaged food items will be permitted to offer taste sampling. All vendors who have already paid for Cedar Creek may use their payment for either the Strawberry Festival or for June 15-16, 2013 at Cedar Creek. |
