Description: |
This free family event is being held to educate the community about diving and Long Island waters. Representatives from different organizations will help us learn about diving history. There will be a pool open to those (12 years old and up) who would like to try scuba diving under the supervision of expert instructors. Exhibits include historic dive equipment (including a 200 pound Mark V dive suit), marine artifacts, underwater photography, as well as a touch tank and a scub-a-hero for the kids. Refreshments will be available. |
