The Art League of Long Island celebrates the remarkable talent of local visual artists in its popular competition, now in its 56th year. Exhibition juror and noted landscape painter April Gornick singled out seven works of art for special recognition among the 65 artists she selected to participate in the exhibit. Ms. Gornick, whose works can be found in major art institutions and museums throughout the country, originally screened 500 entries to make her final selections. Congratulations to the award winners and to the artists selected for inclusion in the exhibit. |
