Women's Fund of Long Island and Maurer Foundation are partnering to bring you a free Breast Cancer Workshop. This 40 minute interactive educational outreach program focuses on breast cancer risk reduction early detection, healthy lifestyle choices and self-examinations.
Angelina Jolie's recent preventative mastectomy made headlines, bringing with it an abundance of conflicting information in the media. To respond to questions you might have, there will be a special presentation on BRCA genes 1 and 2.
